Plurk Updates Mobile-Plurk

Plurk Team has been working hard to improve your experience of mobile plurk. They have added several new features like mute/unmute plurks, mark all plurks as read, and delete plurks. Unread plurks are now displayed in chronological order (newest first), and the input boxes no longer allow you to type more than 140 characters. The unread responses are indicate in bold.

Plurk Banned in China

Apparently, Plurk is being blocked in China. “We at Plurk still don’t know why we are banned and we did not get any warnings from the Chinese government or have been in contact with them.” But a quick test  confirms that the site is not available in China”, said Plurk’s lead developer Amir Salihefendic. Plurk is a micro-messaging site where each message appears on a timeline.
